Cool Moog Actuator Hanging up

We have a Moog actuator Hydraulic oil to open and spring to close that is occassionally hanging up at about 70% stroke. While the unit is offline, we checked for calibration and the demand and feedback were good within 1%. We noticed the null bias was high and changed the servo to no avail. Has anyone seen this issue and what could be causing the valve getting hung up? when stroked offline everything checks out.
thanks for your help in advance.

Sounds like a mechanical issue with your rod scored. There could be side loading causng fretting wear at the demand oscillates at the 70% stroke.

hello Evictor, did moog come out with a new robust design of the actuators? I know Y&F came out with one that would eliminate the scoring of the shaft and prevent contamination. Any similar offer by Moog?
