Default wye delta transformer

hi,

i am new bie..
hopefully you will help me to find out the advantage either wye or delta connection in transformer. today i just read regarding wye-delta connection in main trafo (step-up) in electricity generating system. and it is stated that wye is connected with higher voltage. whereas delta is connected to the generator.

would you tell me, what is the advantage if i use wye in higher voltage, and how if i use wye to be connected with generator? is there any occurred problem?

thank you in advance

Default Auto Transformer Power Sharing

we have 5 auto transformer bank for load sharing from 220KV to 132 KV system. Each auto transformer rating is 100MVA. We have made bank of two two transformer like

T1 & T2 is one bank this bank shear load 325 Ampere
T3 & T5 is 2nd bank this bank also shear 325 Ampere
and T5 is alone this bank shear load 100 Ampere

if any transformer from bank goes out i-e T1 out then T2 shear 100 A why is that?
