Default Coppus turbines

Hi, I hope its not inapropriat to post this here. If it is my apologies.

I have for sale 3 x coppus steam, turbines curently they are all coupled to pumps, they came from the closure of a major petrochemical plant. 1 x RL-16 with woodward govenor, 1 x RL-20 with woodward govenor and a TF-12 with coppus govenor.

Im also curious to know if anyone has expetience using this type of fairly simple single stage turbine with a working fluid other than water to enable the use of lower grade heat sources?

I am based in Adelaide Australia should this be of interest to anyone please contact me for photos and detailed specifications.

Tim

Default Need help IDing this Coppus turbine

I have been working to clear out the estate of an old friend. Just got someone to take his Corliss recipricating engine and generator.

Still have this Coppus turbine with pump. Appears to be a in good condition but can't see the model number. I want to sell it but need to be able to say what model it is.

Since the pictures are larger files than allowed here, I will provide a link to another web site where I have them posted with a better description.

The Home Machinist! • View topic - Steam turbine or What?

I also have a Gardner flyball governor/throttle valve I need to sell as well. It is new and about 3" IPS low pressure.

Once I know what i have, I will put this info in the Market Place forum.

Thanks

Steve
