in my present plant we have 4 X V94.2(6) Siemens gas turbine

in OFFLINE compressor washing we keep the IGV in closed condition and injecting 125lit of washing solution @turning gear speed through 2 nos of jet nozzel.

in my previous plant i came accross earlier version of V94.2 but for OFFline compressor washing IGV kept full open.

can any one say which one will give effective cleaning of compressor blades and why ?

is there any harm for the compressor blades by the jet nozzle injection @ turning gear speed!!!!
