What are your methods for finding new employment opportunities? Job fairs? Social networking? Word of mouth? Any favorite web sites you like to frequent?

I've heard that LinkedIn is quite effective however for what you do, you're probably better off asking your immediate peers are other facilities or organizations. This is mainly because people don't want to hire someone that they don't already know something about due to the hazards of this industry. We recently started looking for someone who knows about the BES and who knows about NERC but we started with our own network that went all the way back to the early 80's of people we used to work with. But, with all that said, I'd say start with LinkedIn.
