In the field of Power Plant Engineering we are looking for a Senior Project Manager:

Tasks:
• Responsibility for the successful execution of an order with respect to compliance with costs, deadlines, quality and customer satisfaction
• Production of a concept for the execution and monitoring of projects
• Responsibility for the project plan
• Controlling and monitoring costs, resources, deadlines and quality for successful project execution (project controlling)
• Responsibility for reports (monthly project review, progress report)
• Appointment and allocation of the project team
• Ensuring availability of personnel
• Coordination of all individuals involved in the project (internally and on site)
• Internal and external communication throughout the execution of the order
• Acting as an interface between relevant departments and any local subcontractors
• Responsibility for functioning communication with the approval authorities

Qualifications:
• Degree in a technical subject (e.g. mechanical engineering, process engineering, plant engineering, or engineering and business administration)
• At least 5 years’ professional experience in international large-scale plant construction, preferably diesel power plants
• Professional experience in international plant construction and project management, preferably as an overall project manager or sub-project manager
• Analytical, communication, planning and organisational skills, assertiveness and team spirit are essential
• Ability to lead an international / intercultural team
• Experience in dealing with clients and suppliers
• Willingness to go on extended deployments to construction sites worldwide
• Good written and spoken English
• Additional languages would be an advantage
• Fully conversant with MS Office, including MS Project
• Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
