Hello,

Were attempting to access a Yokogawa DAQstation recorder via Ethernet connection on the recorder ( direct connect recorder to laptop ).... using cross over cable and DAQSTANDARD software version R2.07, unsuccessful attempts so far; can ping the recorder via DOS prompt OK.

Setup on communications portion of recorder appears OK,
Setup of communications on laptop software appears OK....
but must be missing a magic bullet...or something....

did you try to "PING" the DAQ from the laptop?
Does your default gatway on the laptop match the DAQ?
Also the IP address should be set up properly with the last set of numbers different to identify the hardware.
