Default 7FA Crossfire bellows upgrade

Has anyone installed the new crossfire bellows upgrade? What was the outcome? We are constantly getting hot CPD air leakage from the crossfire tubes which causes higher than normal temps in the turbine compartment. thanks

We installed this upgrade in the spring and was very successful. This eliminated high CPD leakage, which will increase turbine compartment temps. Also eliminated the need to keep repacking the old graphite rings.

I would definately recommend installing this modification during the next Combustion inspection outage. the old design with graphite packing is notorious of failing and repairs are not permenant. with the bellows, it uses spiral wound gaskets which will hold up longer. thanks
