You will just need proof that you have on-the-job training under the proper supervision and a check book for your license. Basic requirements are as follows and may vary state to state:
Journeyman Electrician - 8,000 hours of on-the-job training under supervision of a master electrician and p*** the journeyman electrician examination.
Maintenance Electrician - 8,000 hours of on-the-job training under the supervision of a master electrician or a maintenance electrician and pas$ the maintenance electrician examination.
Electrical Apprentice - Be at least 16 years old and be asisting in installation of electrical work under the supervision of a master electrician.
