Default RE: Inlet Filter House Chiller Coils

Thanks for the information about prefilters and the penalty of added delta P on the inlet.

However, what I am seeking is: Will it be necessary to modify the vendor (AAF) and the OEM (GE Aeroderivative) Packagers inlet air filter house to install aftermarket prefilters?

I hate to have our client purchase a brand new LM2500+G4 DLE CTG package and then have to get up in the intake filter house with cutting torches and welding equipment before we ever push the button to modify the structure downstream of the trash screens and upstream of the chiller coils so that the inlet will accept and retain prefilters.

Any experience from owners or operators of this type of equipment would be much appreciated.
